The need for energy and water security on islands has led to an increase in the use of wind power. However, intermittent nature generation means it needs be coupled with a storage system. Motivated by this, two different models surplus systems are investigated this paper. In both models, renewable is provided farm. first model, pumped hydro system (PHS) used storage, while second scenario, hybrid hydrogen (HPHS) applied, consisting PHS goal study compare single fulfill requirements island’s electricity load desalination demands domestic irrigation water. cost (COE) 0.287 EUR/kWh 0.360 HPHS, loss probability (LOLP) 22.65% 19.47% HPHS. Sensitivity analysis shows that speed key parameter most affects COE, (COW) LOLP indices, temperature results least.
